Josie is a great heroine, trying to piece together her life that’s being rocked, Seth is sexy and dangerous with a lot of baggage, but begging for a redemption story. Instead of Angels & Demons the storyline for the Titans series is all greek mythology. Though a very similar style to the Harbinger series, I still certainly enjoyed every minute. Add in the Titans, shades and magical descendants of the godly bloodlines. There is a lot of history from the last series with more of the gods and I’m sure more to explore in the rest of the series. This story includes appearances from a few of the pantheon favorites, mostly focused on Apollo. The starter series for this is Covenant, and Seth has a whole history from it, but don’t worry, you get all the relevant overviews that you need within the confines of The Return, and by not reading the Covenant first, you get to experience everything right along with Josie.Īnyway, I enjoyed the ride, greek mythology, meddling Gods, college girl about to get her world rocked by a beautiful and dangerous stranger.Īll the greek mythology that I love, inserted into a modern story. I skipped the YA starting series (with too much angst and love triangles for me at the moment) and I went straight to the spinoff series for the ousted part of the triangle, a few years later. This is the second time that I’ve followed the same pattern with JLA books. BookScouter helps to compare book prices from 25+ online bookstores.
